1. Who we are
Tiance is a brand of United Tycoon Group Limited, Hong Kong ("Tiance", "we", "us"). This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect personal data when you visit our website, apply for a merchant account, or use our services.
2. Data we collect
- Application and verification data — your name, contact details, company information, website, business registration, ownership details, and payout information submitted during the merchant application and review.
- Transaction data — payment, refund, dispute, and settlement records generated when you use the service.
- Communications — messages you send us via the contact form, email, Telegram, or Discord.
- Website usage data — basic technical information such as browser type and pages visited, used to operate and improve the site.
3. How we use data
- To review merchant applications and verify business eligibility.
- To provide payment integration, settlement reporting, and merchant support.
- To meet legal, regulatory, and card-scheme obligations, including anti-money-laundering and fraud-prevention requirements.
- To respond to enquiries and provide account notices.
4. Sharing
We share merchant and transaction data with our licensed payment service partners as required to review applications and process payments, and with service providers (such as hosting and email providers) who process data on our behalf. We may disclose data where required by law or regulation. We do not sell personal data.
5. International transfers
Because we provide cross-border payment services, data may be transferred to and processed in jurisdictions outside your own, including Hong Kong and the jurisdictions of our payment partners. We take reasonable steps to ensure data receives adequate protection wherever it is processed.
6. Retention
We retain application, verification, and transaction records for as long as needed to provide the service and to meet legal and regulatory retention requirements applicable to payment services, after which data is deleted or anonymised.
7. Security
We use technical and organisational measures appropriate to the sensitivity of the data we handle, including encryption in transit and access controls. No system is completely secure; notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
8. Your rights
Subject to applicable law (including the Hong Kong Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance), you may request access to or correction of your personal data, and object to certain processing. Contact us at hello@tiance.io to exercise these rights.
9. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the current version. Material changes will be notified to active merchants.
